Awesome steak hoagies! The best in the city of Buffalo right now! The special 's is off the chain!
I got a steak Hoagie and my boyfriend got a chicken hoagie. It was very Saucy and meaty. Prices are decent and the wait is not that long. Check out Groupon for a discount.
The service is quick, the food is good. I do like the original location on Jefferson & William much better. This location does have more of a variety of food to choose from.
Looking for a good Steak and Cheese and thanks to Yelp I found Shy's! I lived in Philadelphia for 2 years this Cheesesteak is as good as any of the Philly Cheesesteak joints. Nobody puts as much meat on the roll as this place! I had the Steak, Cheese, Mushroom and their sauce. I think next time I will go with out the sauce.
The steak sandwich was great. I could only eat half the sub so someone else enjoyed the rest. Definitely a bang for your buck.
All I can say is it taste the same as the Shy's Downtown location. I believe it is operated by two of the employees (husband & wife) that worked at the downtown location of Shy's. With a few additions the menu is very similar as well as the sandwiches. It operates out of the old Avenue Pizzeria on Genesee Street in Cheektowaga. I was happy that this location also accepts credit cards. One of the best in Buffalo for Hoagies!
